Exchange of the 2 Princesses

This portrait is taken from a painting by Peter Paul Rubens (1615) regarding the marriage of Anne of Austria to Louis XIII of France and also the marriage of Phillip IV of Spain. One princess is being guided towards France, the other towards Spain, completing the  exchange.

Its a great backstory to the original painting and you can certainly do likewise with this print, especially popular with young girls.
