Portrait of a Lady

One of our favorites. This portrait of a lady was created in 1465 (over 550 years ago) right at the beginning of the Renaissance. It is by Alesso Baldovinetti who was from a wealthy Florentine family (same time as the rise of the Medici family). Alesso worked on various fresco's around Florence although only a few remain.
